![]() ![]() She finds herself aboard The First Lady during the time when Booker and Elizabeth had stormed Jeremiah Fink's factory with the Vox Populi. Elizabeth then travels through a Tear back to Columbia. She collects equipment needed to repair the vandalized device with the reluctant help of Atlas and Suchong. Elizabeth rationalizes that she can use the Lutece Particle that kept Columbia afloat to lift the department store back to Rapture. Tracking down Suchong, Elizabeth discovers the doctor knew about Columbia and built a Lutece Device connecting back to the flying city, based on the Luteces' technology. The voice of Booker, who states he is simply a facet of Elizabeth's subconscious, helps her in making her way through the Splicer-inhabited store. The Lutece Twins had advised her not to venture back into Rapture, because her quantum-superposition would collapse into one last Elizabeth, mortal, without omniscience or the ability to open Tears, and cut off from the Elizabeths of the alternative universes, but she was determined to return to Rapture and rescue Sally. However, her powers allowed her to continue existing in some form in the multiverse, and her sense of guilt about the way she used Sally to get revenge on Comstock, moved her to get back to Rapture and clean up the mess. She realizes that her former self was killed by the same Bouncer that impaled Comstock. Left alone, Elizabeth begins to explore the store and finds her own dead body amongst some rubble. Yi Suchong to convince him and promises freedom in exchange for returning Sally. Before they can shoot Elizabeth, a vision of Booker DeWitt appears and coaches her to claim she can help Atlas escape the sunken department store. Atlas and his men take Sally away and search the corpse of Comstock for valuables. It quickly emerged that PT was, in fact, a teaser for a brand-new entry in Konami's long-neglected Silent Hill series - one from Hideo Kojima, The Shape of Water director Guillermo del Toro, and reportedly, manga horror master Junji Ito.Elizabeth wakes up in the Toys section of Fontaine's Housewares Department shortly after the events of Episode 1. Supposedly a demo for a larger game of the same name, PT quickly garnered praise for its stiflingly atmospheric, genuinely unnerving take on first-person horror, all the more impressive for the fact it unfolded in a single, tiny location - an ever-looping corridor in a largely unremarkable family home. PT (AKA Playable Teaser) surprise-launched during Sony's Gamescom conference in 2014, and was, initially at least, shrouded in mystery. The question is, of course, whether Konami will, as it has done before, flex its legal muscle and scrub this latest PT remake from the internet.īack in July 2018 it did exactly that with a PT remake attempt by an enthusiastic 17-year-old fan - but, in a surprisingly positive twist, the Japanese company offered the young developer an internship in the process of shutting their work down. Speaking of gameplay, Unreal PT's is near identical to the original's, but the ending has been changed slightly "to make beating it more consistent". ![]() Radius Gordello said they spent nine months building Unreal PT, recreating from scratch textures, models, animations and gameplay from the original.
